I imagine that there would be nothing nicer, on a rainy day, than to have tea at the The Tower of Cosmic Reflections.  There was actually nothing nicer than to have tea on the day we were there, a balmy day in September.  The Tower of Comic Reflections is the tea house of the Lan Su Chinese Garden https://lansugarden.org/ in Portland, Oregon.  We chose to have our tea upstairs, overlooking the gardens on one side and the city on the other.  There are windows on the two sides of the full length of the tea room.  The windows were opened and a breeze flowed through the room.

 

 

 

 

I recommend the The Eight Treasures tea if you have trouble making up your mind.  I didn’t regret it and was not surprised to learn all of the tea is sourced from The Tao of Teas https://taooftea.com/. Teas from The Tao of Tea were always my favorite tea to drink when I lived in Portland.  If you find a tea that you especially like while you are at The Tower, you can buy it on your way out.
