You’ll find Orlando’s Cafe on the main highway, Paseo del Pueblo Norte, that cuts through town. Take the road that leads you into town after leaving Taos Pueblo https://taospueblo.com/visiting-taos-pueblo/. Turn right on Paseo del Pueblo Norte and you will see the restaurant a short ride down, on the left. It’s a small, better said cozy restaurant. It has a small kitchen that presents big plates of all the New Mexican favorites. It is only made better by everything you are surrounded with: the dried red chile ristras hanging from the ceiling, the cut tin lamps and the brightly painted walls and furniture. All the staff are super friendly and efficient, but if they seem a little rushed it is because the place is hopping! In all, having lunch at Orlando’s Cafe was a great way to end our day visiting Taos Pueblo https://roadtosuchness.com/taos-puebl0-a-step-into-history/. One last note. If I am back in Taos any time soon I will be going to Orlando’s again. And this time I am ordering the Avocado pie for dessert!
