The day after Christmas. Alone for the moment, stopping one more time on the main street of this little New Mexican town.  Packed up, ready to wind up this road trip, New Mexico and to take the drive back to Santa Fe. I am the only one amidst this shock of color against a dry desert background.  I have been happy to spend a few days and holiday meals with people that share each other with small town familiarity.  I am glad now to stay a few solitary minutes communing with this place that others might call the middle of nowhere.
